Bad Liar is the first book in The Reed Rivers Trilogy and can be read as a standalone. I was very intrigued by the blurb and have wanted to read a book by Lauren Rowe for quite some time and I'm glad I picked this one because it was definitely captivating and intense.

Reed has the "Midas Touch". He's Record Label Company is famous and he has worked hard to get it to the top. He is an ambitious entrepreneur, with a bossy and sexy personality. He works hard and plays even harder. Reed might seem cold and calculated from afar but he also shows a softer side when it comes to his family. But his rough exterior starts to crack bit by bit the moment he meets Georgina. She's the type of girl that doesn't take bullshit from anyone. She's sassy, strong-headed, independent and she totally fascinates Reed.

The chemistry between them is explosive. The banter and the constant battle of the wills made this story even sweeter. Both of them have secrets in their past that molded their personalities and I loved how Reeds goes from being the guy who doesn't even want to hear about a relationship to slowly compromising in that aspect just to get closer to Georgina because she matches him in every way and the magnetic pull towards her can't be ignored.

Told in dual POV, with an intriguing plot and fairly paced action, this book was a rollercoaster of emotions, a beautiful and emotional ride and I enjoyed every page. I'm looking forward to reading more stories from this author!
