Heartbreak You is the conclusion to Atlas's and Thea's story, and it picks up exactly where the first instalment of the duet ended. This book was quick-paced, suspenseful and full-on action. There were some twists I did not see coming and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the plot unravel.
Thea tries to stay away from Atlas after he rejected her and broke her heart. She's trying to focus more on herself and rebuilding her life, but things don't really go as planned. As much as Atlas would like to hate her, he can't. Theadora has captured his heart completely, and the sooner he accepts that he loves her the better it will be for everyone. It won't be easy to regain her trust but he's a man who always gets what he wants and won't back down from a challenge.
The banter and the constant battle of the wills between the protagonists made this story even sweeter. I loved how Altlas went from being the guy who doesn't even want to hear about a relationship to slowly compromising in that aspect just to get closer to Thea because she matches him in every way and the magnetic pull towards her can't be ignored. And I liked Thea's determination to resist Altlas's charm, even if she was kidding herself by denying the attraction. I also admired her determination to be there for her sister even if Lucy only made Thea's life hell.
The storyline was like a whirlwind, action-packed and full of suspenseful and angsty moments.
And the ending was fitting for their story, I loved all the emotion that poured from the pages. Overall, I enjoyed this duet very much, and I highly recommend it!
