A thrilling conclusion to the Wicked Poison duet. My Wicked Heart brought out a myriad of emotions. It picked up from where the first book ended and it completely surprised me from the start, throwing in some twists I could not see coming. I loved the dynamic between Rylee and August. They make a great couple, with him being all dark and broody (most of the time I wanted to strangle him for being so stubborn, but at some level, I could understand his reasons for acting that way) and Rylee being sassy, outspoken and wearing her heart on her sleeve. They had explosive chemistry and their banter was entertaining. The storyline was suspenseful, full-on action, and some drama that resolved fairly quick. It was an addictive read that had me reading way past my bedtime. I recommend reading this book duet!
