MY REVIEW

Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This second book of the Rochester trilogy picks up where book one ended, and it gave me all the feels. I just love the dynamic between Jane and Paige, these two have so much in common. And the chemistry between Jane and Beau is crazy intense, the constant push and pull between them turns the atmosphere electric. There were moments when Beau's indecisiveness drove me crazy, but by the end, I wouldn't have wanted him any other way. His past continues to haunt him and he tries so hard to keep Jane and his niece protected. The plotline is full of mystery and suspense; it kept me constantly guessing who the antagonist might be, and I couldn't help but read it in one sitting. This is one deliciously dark and dangerous story and of course, it ends with another heart-gripping cliffhanger. I'm so excited for the next installment, can't wait to see how things will wrap up.
