Holly mother of angsty romance... This book had me turning pages like crazy to see how things will turn out between Tiernan and Bianca. A great age gap romance, filled with secrets, danger and delicious banter between the protagonists. An intriguing story focused on revenge but also self discovery. I felt connected with both Tiernan and Bianca, I could feel their anguish and sorrow dripping from the pages. I also loved the secondary characters,Tiernan's staff and friends were very interesting people. The action slowly built throughout the book and it culminated with a maddening cliffhanger I did not expect. It was a captivating taboo read that left me with a serious book hangover. And i'm looking forward to the next installment.
