Man in Love continues from where the first book of the duet left off and things become complicated between Tess and Scott. They both lied, either by omission or for a good cause, and now they're facing a tangled situation, but that doesn't mean the chemistry between them lessens. The intense attraction they felt the first time they've met turns into something more and they're both determined to make their relationship work no matter the obstacles.

Both protagonists were dear to my heart. I loved their connection and how their relationship progressed. I enjoyed seeing Scott stand up to his father and taking the reins on his life. Falling in love with Tess made him see things differently, and his priorities changed. Ass for Tess, I loved her attitude and how she wasn't afraid to express her desire towards Scott. But she was also a tough cookie. She handled brilliantly all the tense situations she went through. That girl was a queen. The story flowed easily and the secondary characters were wonderfully portrayed. There was angst and drama, but I was happy it didn't overpower the plotline. And the ending was fitting for their story, I loved all the emotion that poured from the pages.

Overall, I enjoyed this duet very much, and I recommend it!
